More details of his life
Born and raised the golden boy of Roswell.
Allowed fears to manifest as homophobic actions towards his best friend.
Played sports in high school, lettered in football, and was accepted at the University of Michigan to play
At some point quit football and started medical
Got his doctorate and returned to Roswell to work in their hospital as a surgeon
Learns that aliens are real, and he went to school with them
Takes one of the aliens on as a patient, trying hard to save her life
Becomes embroiled in the fight to protect the aliens against a family friend and learns that his father was part of the torture and punishment of the survivors of the Roswell crash
Tries to help save those aliens being held, barely surviving the prison blowing up.
Has a nervous breakdown over the man he’s become, and needing to protect himself because he knows his best friend’s dad is coming for him.
Instead of buying a gun, he bought a bulletproof vest, saving his life and instead of killing, he puts his attacker into a coma, thereby saving his life and keeping his morals as well.

Personality:
Workaholic: Returning to his hometown with his PhD, Kyle gets on at the local hospital on their surgical team. He does this after leaving on a football scholarship, and while it’s hinted that he’s not as smart as his friends - Most of whom are genius level or near to it in one field or another - his focus in high school seems to be more on sports and being a horrible dudebro with homophobic tendencies. Yet he has obviously put himself into his studies, keeping up not only with his own rounds but the extraterrestrial science he finds himself helping with. Beyond the regular schedule of a surgeon on rotation, Kyle immediately jumps in to help with studies into a past death, researching to try and save the life of an alien, and helping his friends in learning the truth about their family heritage, the Roswell aliens, and the illegal prison of aliens his father had a hand in.
Vain: Despite all Kyle keeps on his schedule and how hard he works, he obviously puts quite a bit of time and thought into his appearance. His hair is well cared for, his clothing carefully picked up. Even when it has a lab coat over it. Then there is his body. Despite his job, and all that siding with the aliens in Roswell has added to his plate, he works out on a regularly basis, often spending several hours in a gym with a trainer.
Know-it-All: A throwback to his years as a sports star in high school, Kyle likes to be able to prove that he knows things and that he can find the answer. So long as it doesn’t relate to pop media, at least, as he doesn’t know what abilities jedis have or the difference between Star Trek and Star Wars. To this end, he will throw himself into research and put in extra hours to try and work out a solution. Conversely though, he can accept with grace that he may not always find the answer. At least most of the time.
Cocky: He’s smart, athletic, skilled, a former jock, and now a doctor. For better or worse, it’s just kind of part of who he is and while he’s a better man now, he hasn’t outgrown it. Despite this hint of arrogance that comes along with a macho swagger, Kyle shows a maturity and charm of someone that has overcome their past hypocrisy but not entirely their attitude.
Martyr: Realizing that he’s being stalked by a man that he knows will maim and kill to get what he wants, Kyle refuses to bother his friends and battle cohorts with this knowledge, instead handling things on his own. Despite suffering a massive panic attack over the man he is and what he’ll have to do, Kyle sets himself up to be found, and even takes a bullet meant to kill that is both foolhardy as well as courageous. Prepared for the attack though, he was wearing a bulletproof vest, and instead of killing his attacker, he shows how merciful he is, putting the man into a medically induced coma instead of killing him.
Compassionate: Despite his cruelty in the past, the barbs used out of fear and a need for acceptance, Kyle is a person who tries to do the right thing. Not only because it’s what a good man should do, but because of his compassion for others. He works hard to help those in need, even when they try and mind control him or don’t know how to accept help. He spared a man’s life who had not spared his own, and risked his life against the possibility of armed soldiers and the alien that caused his father’s illness and death to try and save prisoners that were being held unjustly.

Powers and Abilities:
Medical: Skilled surgeon, as well as some talent in field medical. Also knowledgeable in drugs such as how to put a person in a coma so you don’t have to kill them.
Athletic: In shape, former college and high school athlete, works out daily.
Research: Focused and determined when it comes to finding the truth, especially when it relates to medical research.

Inventory: 1) One handwritten notebook from his father. 2) One Roswell New Mexico Sheriff’s Badge from his mother. 3) 9mm pistol, military issue

Samples: Coping with canon fallout
