Kyle is so thankful for Max coming over. He's missed him more than he could find words for, and all that's happened has left him just trying to work through things and get everything right.

He's just thankful that Elijah hadn't asked him to give up Max to prove how much he loves him. He knew there would have been a hollowness in him if he lost him.

He laughs when he hears that, coming down from the second floor wearing jeans and a plain tee, casual and looking just like himself despite all the changes.

"Are you here for a cup of sugar? Did you end up with my mail?"

Even as he teases him, Kyle moves to pull Max into his arms, hugging him tight.
