I can keep down water. I just kinda throw up sometimes after I eat, if I eat a lot. I had the nausea before - but it's just like, a bit worse? And uhhh... I don't think I'm super well versed in vomit. It didn't have blood or anything in it.
You might not want to bring them then. I wanted to say this to your face, to show you, but your blood is much the same in color now. It shouldn't have degraded like that but it has.
I had wanted to show it to you, but after you left, the sample began to degrade. I've taken others and used the same vial type and not had the same effects.
Now it's possible there was a contaminant in the vial, and that's what I thought but now I admit, I am a bit concerned. Why don't you guys come on over, and we'll take another sample and go from there. Okay?
Yeah, ok I'll text you when we're heading over, once I check in with them
[Just - let Andy figure out what to tell his Dads, how much to disclose and then... figure out when they can head over. So after a little while, a conversation and maybe some timeline magic; Andy does send the heads up that they're hauling over to Haven. He's still a bit nervous but there's a lot of reasons for it and having his Dads in tow to hear another opinion of probable bad news... is... what it is.]
[ Dad2 is at the back of the group, an enormously steady presence, and since the Andys have announced themselves, he just gives a polite wave, keeping quiet for now. ]
[ It feels so much like home that it's like this place never existed. For a moment. Just trying to ascertain a patient's status and passing on to their family what is going on.
Except he has grey blood in a vial and a patient maybe puking up the same. Then he's sharply back in Duplicity. ]
Hi. I'm glad you could come with Andy today. Especially with the change in condition. I had meant to have this meeting sooner but then we were trapped and yeah, Duplicity.
[ He sighs then looks to Andy. ]
Have you spoken about the changes in the blood or should I dive in?

Is it stopping you from keeping down water? Is the vomit off or look different than what you're used to?

Okay that's a start. What about color? Brown or black? Doesn't look like coffee grounds? I suspect you would have mentioned that but just asking.

And um
[Lies, lies, how do you lie??]
Don't tell my Dads this part? But it was kinda greyish
dark... dark grey
