That is one thing that makes me more comfortable. I was involved with someone very possessive and it was not a good situation in the end, but it took me a while to figure that out.
I'm not against any of those things, and I think they're sweet and very welcome. It doesn't weird me out, not at all. I just like taking things slow romantically. We don't get much choices otherwise, in taking things slow, so after what things I have rushed into, I am just careful about it now.
I'm sorry, I promise I would never be like that. With any of my partners I'd want them to feel comfortable more than anything, and know they can be with whoever else they please, however works for them. No matter where we are in terms of labels. Caitlin is involved with a few different people here herself. We see each other when we can, but there's no pressure.
I should point out that it took most of my life to confess to my wife that I even liked her, so this is actually fast for me. :P I may be a speedster, but I'm all for taking things slow romantically. I'm just also a little bit oblivious as far as intentions go most of the time, so unless I know for sure what someone wants I won't assume.
I'm not saying you would be, Barry. I'm just talking about where I'm at and the things I've had to go through so that I feel that way. I went through a lot and so I'm cautious about people. I care deeply though so it's an odd dichotomy of how I feel sometimes.

I understand. I've been through things of my own to be how I am too. But I'd like to keep doing that then, even cautiously. That's okay with me, really.
