I agree; We never do know when it might happen without warning. [Which has been a morose thought for him in an increasingly ongoing way, but that alone isn't enough for him to preclude wanting to be prepared for it. If anything, it necessitates being prepared.] We could try to have CUR13 key the database to the city's available public information, as well, so when people are removed from it, they're also automatically removed from our list.
[ Kyle always finds himself torn after five years. Sometimes he thinks they'll never let him go, and others he's sure it will be his last. It's why he tries to not let anything hold him back from those he loves, especially. ]
I think that would be a good choice. Trying to keep up with it on our own would be enough.
I wonder if we could do the same with the available staff so that if they vanish, we're notified. I try and keep up with them personally but things sometimes change quickly.
I can't see why not. The next time one of us is in, let's ask CUR13, and see if it's something she can alter her functionality around.
[It's something the robot will be able to do with ease (after a bit of adjustment, and being connected to the hospital's private network to pull a list of staff members to compare against the city's public directory of LIERs) and that will be set up after the next time either vampire quizzes her about it.]
Good idea. We'll get it worked out. I always feel I'm carrying on a legacy with Haven and I want to make sure that no matter what happens, she will always carry on.
You are, and continue to be, a worthy administrator, Kyle.
And my favourite, truly. Do keep that part from HR. [The idea of any place in Duplicity having HR is laughable, of course, which is why this is a joke.]

Even if I don't doubt some of the staff may have worked out that you're special to me.
